The Smashmouth Trokar exemplifies every single one of those guiding philosophies at PPJ. We were the first to adopt the Trokar into a football head, doing so within a month of the hooks becoming available. We have been hand pouring them ever since.
Though many have followed since then, ours has a dirty little internal design secret we have yet to disclose, and the competition has yet to figure out. This nearly invisible little wrinkle makes ours hit harder, with less effort, lets you move the jig a little differently at depth and keeps your fish pinned to it once you set the hook.
It features a Trokar 4/0 round bend hook,, full size weed guard, premium skirt and band. We hand coat it with 2 ton clear epoxy to toughen it up, and spin each head for 4 hours to level the finish like a crankbait.
If you need a hard hitting Trokar equipped football head you won't find a better one, than the original one. It comes in 100 colors and custom variants can be produced for you should the need arise, with a phone call or email.
